October 29th, 2009Many, many non-iSight iMac G5s died after having capacitors on their logic board fail like these little guys. This machine joined their ranks today, after getting dropped off at our shop for repair.

I had to replace the unibody on a MacBook Pro yesterday, which requires taking everything in the notebook apart and moving it into the new case. Two hours later, it was like new.
My new 24-inch iMac (a replacement from Apple for my dead 20-inch model) arrived today. Here, the new keyboard sits next to my Apple Extended II keyboard, which I will continue to use daily. The iPhone 3G and Apple remote are present for reference.
Last year, I played with the idea of posting my photos here each day (as well as my Flickr page) but never came to a conclusion. Now I have.
